This image stood out for me because it looks as if it were carefully composed to show a frozen lake in the mountain with snow. I really like the lighting in this image, it seems to be mid-day and the ice just reflects the sun so well. I don't like that that water bottle is not centered in the photo, although the angle it was shot at was interesting. I think I may try to take a similar photo for my landscape project. The mountain looks very clean in the water in the water bottle, and I think it is also a little ironic that the water in the lake is frozen, but the water in the bottle is not. I think that this was a very good piece of composition and while not being just "pretty" it may present a deeper meaning within the picture as well.
