Picture Taken of Melissa
Writing Reflections:
Describe: A girl holding acorns. She is wearing a striped shirt and is looking down, almost entranced or proud of her collection of acorns.
Analyze: The closer image of the girl is sharper and the background is blurred. focusing on the girl. The acorns are blurred as well, moving the focus to her expression on her face. It has a lonely tone to the picture, intentionally in focus.
Interpret: I think that the image is trying to communicate beauty in its most simplest forms. The image seems light and curious, a mystery to what she is thinking. This photo was taken outdoors.
Judge: The work was somewhat successful because the bottom of the photo accidentally overlapped another photo. There was also complications in the photo: the scratches were unintentional; from the mishandling of the negatives.

Good start. When you're asked to judge if the image was successful or not you need to be precise. If it was successful why. You say yes it's successful then you go on to say what didn't work.
